MISSIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES 工作職責(zé)
Battery Development:
- Research, application, design and development of power batteries (electrodes design & formulation, electrolyte composition, formation condition...)；
- Failure analysis, mechanism research, acterization and improvement of power batteries (energy density, cycling, calendar ageing…)；
- Research and development of key technical challenges related to chemical systems such as cathode materials, anode materials, foil, isolation films, electrolytes, etc；
Industrial Development:
- Responsible for docking customer requirements and transforming them into landable development solutions；
- In-depth research on power battery product technology to improve product competitiveness；
- Participate in the manufacturability verification of new processes, new materials and new equipment in the mass production stage；
Team Management:
- Provide technical guidance to the R&D team members；
- Pilot R&D resources；
Scientific facilitation:
- Stays on top of technology trends and development (benchmark, conferences, patents screening) in the related field, and Industrial battery production trends；
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES 任職要求：知識，技能和能力
'- Ph.D. background (or if enough experience) in materials, electrochemistry, physics and chemistry (relevant research direction of lithium battery/sodium battery is preferred)；
- 8 years+ of industry experience in cell design and development and industrialization-related；
- Gigafactory or industrial scale cell manufacturing experience is a must；
- Extensive experience in the field of lithium-ion batteries, proficient in producing cylindrical cells, prismatic cells and/or pouch cells；
- Sodium-ion experience is a plus；
- Proficient in the demand decomposition of cell products, cell design and technology；
- Experienced in cell equipment and process debugging, good at failure analysis and solution ion；
- Fluent English；
